Why spray/blow-in insulation ?
Above all, for your comfort...
Thermal comfort is a very complex concept.
It's not just about the thickness of the insulation. It's actually how we feel in the room that determines whether or not we want or need to heat or cool it. This means that just because we insulate a lot doesn't mean we insulate well.
Room air temperature, wall temperature, presence or absence of drafts, humidity content of the air, etc.
These elements make up our feelings and establish the notion of comfort.
The higher the thermal comfort, the less energy we consume to create/modify it.
Some homes achieve such a level of thermal comfort that heating/cooling is no longer necessary. However, when it comes to moving air, humidity (water vapor), and temperature spikes, not all insulation materials behave the same way.
Many insulators lose their performance measured in the laboratory
(stable and dry air, 10°C temperature difference between the faces of the tested insulation). The insulation that provides the highest level of thermal comfort today is sprayed foam insulation. Glass wool, rock wool, cellulose wadding, wood wool: once in place, the environment is different from that of the test laboratory. These insulations then lose their performance.

Control your energy bills...

Insulation foam is durable because it does not degrade or degrades very little.

Above all, it generates much more savings over time on heating and cooling costs than it consumes in resources for its manufacture and implementation. Energy consumption is often reduced by 30 to 40% compared to traditional insulation. Heating capacity can also be reduced, and the return on investment is generally achieved in 4 to 5 years.

Polyurethane is widely used in our daily lives (mattresses, seats, refrigerator insulation, dashboards, etc.). Manufacturers are moving towards manufacturing based on vegetable oils (castor, soybean) and recycled plastics.

Closed-cell rigid foam

For floors, walls, cellars, crawl spaces, etc.: airtight, watertight and water vaportight “Thermos effect”.

Open-cell soft foam

For under-roofs, under-floors, wooden frame partitions, etc.: airtight, permeable to water and water vapor; less expensive. “Buffer effect” against humidity.

The impact of your insulation on the air quality in your home...
...and especially on your health !

Some insulation materials release fibers and dust into the air, the health consequences of which have not been clearly assessed. It should be remembered that glass wool was once classified as a cancer-causing substance.

By penetrating into every nook and cranny, the foam provides a perfect airtight seal, unachievable with panel or loose-fill insulation. Pollutants and outdoor allergens cannot penetrate. Furthermore, foam insulation makes it easier to control indoor air temperature and humidity, reducing the risk of mold.

This is why indoor air is healthier, contributing to the well-being and health of its occupants.
